Nadja Mchantaf is a member of the resistant ensemble of the Komische Oper Berlin, where she is singing
Rusalka (Rusalka), Tatjana (Eugen Onegin), Mimi (La Bohème), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Das Kind (L’enfant et les sortiléges), Erinice (Zoroastre), Micaëla(Carmen),Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande), Saffi (Der "Zigeuner"baron), Jenny Hill (Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny) and Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice)
With the title- role of Massenet’s Cendrillon, under the musical direction of Henrik Nánási and the stage direction of Damiano Michieletto, she celebrated her house- debut and a great success.

Before she was engaged as a full-fledged member of the ensemble of the Semperoper Dresden and appeared as Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), the title role in Hans Werner Henze’s Gisela!, Musetta (La bohème), Micaëla (Carmen), Servilia (La clemenza di Tito), Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Venus (King Arthur), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Princess Eudoxie (La Juive), Ännchen (Der Freischütz), Valencienne (Die lustige Witwe), Lucilla (Il tutore), Lidochka (Moscow, Cheryomushki) and Morgana (Alcina).
She also sang there in the premiere of the new production as Adina (L’elisir d’amore), under the direction of Riccardo Frizza; and as the Fifth Maid (Elektra),
under the direction of Christian Thielemann (available on CD from Deutsche Grammophon).
During this time she made her debut as Marie (Die verkaufte Braut) also in Dresden at the Staatsoperette.

In Venedig at the Teatro la Fenice and at the Teatro dell‘opera di Roma she made her debut as Hanna Glawari (Die lustige Witwe/La vedova allegra) staged by Damiano Michieletto.

She has also appeared as a guest with the
Gulbenkian Orchestra Lisbon (New year's concert), Hamburger Symphonikern (Jenny Hill),
Stuttgart State Opera (Morgana), the Oper Leipzig, the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin,
the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the Beijing Music Festival,
Oper Graz (CD from CPO as Angèle (Der Opernball) and Oper Frankfurt (Michaëla)

In the Produktion of Henning Brockhaus under the baton of Christopher Franklin she performed the Jenny Hill (Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny/Ascesa e Caduta della città di Mahagonny)
at the Teatro Regio Parma.

Nadja Mchantaf completed ten years of dance training and won many championships in ballroom dance.

Her voice studies began in Leipzig at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy with KS Prof. Regina Werner Dietrich and after
the soprano has continued with KS Brigitte Eisenfeld in Berlin.
